(why get a 4 door car that can go 220MPH?)
(because you can)
This is one of those cars that just look so good and luxurious. Yes it looks like a stretched out Bugatti, but it still has a style that is all its own.
(Bugatti in front)
(Porsche Cayenne in the back?)
Quote from Autoblog about car:
The concept for succeeding the two-door, mid-engine Veyron offers a more conventional four-door, front-engine bodystyle with bragging rights that pale only in comparison to its record-breaking forbearer: the 8.0-liter quad-turbo W16 engine would carry over, albeit detuned from its 1000+ hp output in the Veyron to “only” 800, while sources suggest that the Veyron’s purpose-built dual-clutch transmission would be replaced with a more conventional torque-converter eight-speed automatic. With less power and a larger shape, the Galibier is tipped to reach a 220 mph top speed
What will be the cost? I am sure its 100k+ so start saving if you want it.
(the M series for Infiniti just got better)
(that is if they do it)
Just when I thought I would just have to get the Lexus GS400 Hybrid because it is my only option, now Infiniti has decided to make me wonder if the Lexus is a good idea.
Looks like Infiniti is getting more serious about taking on Lexus. Back in August we saw the M get “virtually revealed” at Pebble Beach. We’ve also been following the tale of the upcoming JDM-only new Nissan Fuga, a car which is virtually identical to Infiniti’s M. Then of course Inside Line dropped the M-bomb when they published pics of both the M56 and M37x after their secret pre-production test drive. Meaning we know there’s going to be a 400+ hp 5.6-liter V8 M56, a VQ engined M37 (with around 330 hp — as much or more than the V8 in the outgoing M45 makes) and M37x (x = AWD). There’s also a diesel M aimed at Europe. But today we learn there is another.
(looks pretty smooth)
(don’t pay attention to the steering wheel being on the wrong side lol)
Also from reading the article, it would seem that the Lexus GS400 H isn’t selling to well. Can’t imagine why its not doing well. I tried to do a limited search on the subject and found nothing to link to. Personally the GS series for Lexus is the most popular and best looking 4 door they got and it quite popular in NYC (but that doesn’t mean its that popular around the US)
(a look at Lexus GS400 Hybrid for comparison)
(Infiniti M35… no hybrid but its still a M)
The new hybrid from Infiniti isn’t coming until 2012, of which will be the year the world ends so I am not sure how releasing this car then will make a difference, but hey, I’ll try to drive it for the 4 months that we all have left until the end…. or maybe we won’t get there because of the riots that will happen after the worst action movie that everybody will see comes out next year (I am looking at you 2012)
(and the hi-res gallery on Autoblog looks real good)
(I am not too sure about this one… lets hope there is some desktop customization with it as well)
Visit the main site here and they also have a Facebook page in case you wanted to follow them on there.
And it gets better. Read part of the press release:
The Pontiac GTO is a muscle car legend. As the car that’s most often credited with kicking off the trend of putting the biggest available engine in the smallest available body, the praise and adoration are well-deserved. Despite the reality that the Goat wasn’t always the fastest ride available, Pontiac’s performer was an instant hit and it carried that momentum through the early 1970s.
I am not too into Pontiac but this I can get into if it looks just like it does in the picture above.
(please say it aint so – gallery at AUTOBLOG)
According to reorts as seen on Autoblog, GM is putting the wagon on the back burner unless there is demand for it from the car community thinking of getting it. I for one actually like it more than the coupe version (seen below):
Yes, I know, the Cadillac CTS Coupe is one hot car while the Wagon is a little more quiet, but I can’t help but like it more. Its not as abrubts as the coupe and it has a little more space for stuff. Plus the CTS Wagon seems more stately while the coupe is more vroooom get out of my way. Thats’ what my Infiniti G37 is for lol
Mustang Vs Camaro
I can’t imagine why…. could it be that the Camaro looks STUPID DOPE FRESH while the Mustang is hot its not STUPID DOPE FRESH. Even in all black, the Camaro wins (even thought the Mustang looks beastly-ier – is that a real word? – in all black).
According to Autoblog (my fav car blog ever) the sales for the Camaro just trumped the first retro muscle car by moe thant 1000+ cars:
Despite having fewer model variations on the market, pent up demand for the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro appears to have been enough to send the bad Bowtie past Ford’s redone Mustang in June. Sales figures for the month are beginning to trickle in today, and General Motors says it shifted 9,320 Camaro units last month, as compared to the Blue Oval’s 7,632 Mustangs.
The Dodge Challenger 9the other retro vehicle) is way behind both of them… do I feel a sale coming on? I am alrady looking at a Dodge Magnum due to the fact that nobody wants the creatures… much like the Chrysler Concord and LHS
Saw both the Camaro and the Mustang yesterday and I have to say that they are both great looking cars… but I want a Camaro

(because Porsche’s needed a 4 door car)
Just when you thought that the 2 door and the Porsche SUV would be as far as they would push it, here we have the Porsche Panamera. Continue reading
(so freakin hawt!!!)
Lansing reportedly set to manufacture Cadillac CTS coupe… but I am not too into where it will be built; I just want it built. You know, the cars I like keep changing as of late. It used to be the Nissan Quest, Lexus GS400H, Saturn Sky, Camaro (or Challenger), Buick Enclave and the Silverado SuperCrew (or some other truck with a real truck bed… no luxury trucks for this one lol), but Cadillac is coming strong with its line of cars. I just can’t help but to want a Caddy coupe, the CTS wagon and the Escalade sitting out on my driveway (you know, the one I am imagining in my head lol)
Its all over the net… Autoblog, Left Lane, Jalopnik.… and others as well. I think if GM can get ou of the troubles that ail it right now, it can be a force to be reconed with, especially with Cadillac taking the lead.
(Oh and I just finished saying that I wanted the Camaro over this lol)
